Artistic Great Room

This great room features floor to cieling woodworking, intertwined with hand painted artwork and accented with gold leaf. Designed, for the most part, by artist Anatoly Ivanov. We started with blank walls and then added all the woodwork. Now this is the finished product. Faux finishing done by Faux Finess Inc.

Cherry cieling and built-in furniture

This wedge shaped den required a custom cieling design, along with built in cabinetry, and L.E.D. TV unit on the wall.

Custom Coffered Cielings

This private office was a wedge shaped room which needed a total custom design. Starting with a coffered cieling, built-in cabinetry, raised paneling, window and door treatments, and built in t.v. cabinet. All done in Mahogany.

Master Suite

This master suite designed by Anatoly Ivanov, and then we put the design into play. A grand entrance, custom arch and paneled walls. Reeded face columns with custom capitols, built-in t.v. boxes, King size Cherry wood bed with matching bow front bench and panelled walls below.

Custom mouldings in a radius hallway

This simple niche' gave the owner somewhere to drop her purse

when coming in after a long day.

Curved Recessed Paneling

This Barrel ceiling needed something, so the homeowner set us to design panels for the cieling. We came up with Recessed panels (versatek rails, and rake mouldings), and medallions were suggested by the designer on location. This was the result. All joints were pocket holed, biscuited with plastic biscuits, and glued. This ceiling can be painted or left as is, and will never rot.

Recessed and Curved Woodworking

This in home Movie Theatre, was constructed from blank sheetrock walls to the room you see here. Dark Mahogany Finishes, Fabric sound panels, and custom state of the art sound system by Metro Custom Installations, Brooklyn, NY.

The basement is home to the Movie Theatre (shown half finished below), Party Room, and the Gym among other things. All finished in dark Mahoganys.

Pool house

This is our current project. We started on this pool house and are now ready to tackle the main house.

It is filled with multiple pc. crown mouldings, custom panels, radius mouldings, and multiple pc. window and door treatments, all out of solid poplar. Stay tuned for more updates as we enter the main house in Old Westbury, NY soon!!.

These face columns were constructed out of Poplar Hardwoods to cover the steel columns incorporated into the framing.

Bolla Oil Offices

This craftsman home needed to have the side deck finished off with Mahogeny railings, and cedar/mahogeny Craftsmen style columns.

Custom PVC Portico

Before:

We designed this portico to match the Colonial Style of decorating seen on the inside of this house. Made of Versatek PVC products, and using HB and G Permacast square columns this piece ignores bad weather and will last forever.

Applied panels with embossed chair rail

Simple Painted mantel

This mantel was a simple and cheap way to dress up this builders special firebox.

Classical casing with wood jambs

This opening was just sheetrock with columns, and this homeowner wanted the jambs to be wood, and then she wanted this classical casing style added around the columns.

Custom computer desk (Unfinished and finished)

This computer desk was made to fit the space and matched to the existing cabinetry. American Walnut was installed for the desk top and an antiqued finish on the painted cabinetry.

Painted Mantel

This mantel was constructed from a picture given to me by the homeowner. Solid wood construction, and a hand painted finish.

Medicine Cabinet

This medicine cabinet was built to save space and add storage in a small bathroom. Dimensions are 10" deep, 54" tall, and 36" wide. It was customized to fit the cutout in the wall. Made of solid Maple, stained and finished; includes adjustable shelves.

Wide plank flooring

Distressed and stained, this pine wide plank flooring is finished with Tung Oil.

Maple Mantel

I built this mantel for a recessed wood stove. This granite was applied, and the mantel was built around it. All maple and hardwood materials were used.

This house used MDF chair rail and wood panel moulding to apply panels to the curved walls, and stair cases

Bead board Wainscotting

This room needed bead board with custom cap and corners around the entire room. Stock mouldings were used on the doors, with a custom backband. All woodworking was finished to match the walnut floors.

Corbel support

This piece of Granite needed support. The corbels were attached to Poplar, custom routed, and attached to the wall. A simple breakfast bar, only in need of stools.

Cathedral Crown and Curved Moulding

This house in Commack needed crown on Cathedral Ceilings. This was one of the ceilings, combined with an eyebrow top window. Curved mouldings come in a wide variety of styles.

Recessed panel columns

This trimmed arch includes recessed panels on lower knee walls, and custom built recessed panelled 6" columns to fit. Panel mouldings were made to match arch casing. Nose and cove mouldings were used on the columns. Can be made to fit any opening, columns can also be full length and any width.

Mud room bench seat

This has a wrap around bench seat with individual lift up lids. Includes separate storage in bench and in cubbies above. Made from poplar hardwoods with a premium hand painted finish. V-groove planking is used for backer, and custom partitions for the hangup area. Custom made to fit your space, and the lid can be stained to match flooring or anything you desire.

Custom Oak Pulpit

I had the privilege of creating this pulpit for my home church, Long Island Baptist Church, in Holtsville, NY. I built this pulpit during the Summer of 2005. It consists of recessed panels, (10) 4 1/2" columns, custom mouldings, and solid wood construction. I topped it off with Minwax oil-based stain, and a sanded Polyurethane finish.
I can build more just like this one, in cherry, maple, pine, or mahogeny; or I can create one from your own picture or idea.
